At Kirkenes airport, you are met by your host for the next 4 days, Edgar, who will drive you the 2 hour scenic trip to Varanger lodge.
Settle into your private lodge, let go of your daily life (there’s no wifi or television) and embrace your surroundings. Sitting on the shoreline with huge panoramic windows.
Day 2 Outdoor adventures in Arctic wilderness
Explore your wild surroundings on a snowmobile tour looking out for reindeer, Arctic foxes and sea eagles. You may also give ice fishing a go before retreating back to the lodge.
Day 3 Arctic King crab safari
Edgar will take you out on a king crab safari. The sumptuous crabs are considered a local delicacy and a must-do for any seafood-loving Kirkenes visitor.
Day 4 Snowhotel -sleep in an ice room
Travel to the fascinating Snowhotel featuring a collection of uniquely decorated rooms made from ice and snow. Drift off to sleep snuggled up on the cosy bedding.
Day 5 Snowhotel
Choose from a wide range of high-quality Arctic soft adventures including dog-sledding, snowmobiling or snowhoeing.
Day 6: Departure
Bid farewell to the wilds of Arctic Norway and travel back home from Kirkenes airport.

- 2 hour Northern Lights hunt
